If you are a member of the Disney fandom, who are your favorite characters? What is your favorite movie? Which movies do you hate? Why do you hate them?
Hard to be a fan of a company that closed the studio that made the tinkerbell movies. Just give me 1 more movie to help fill the gap when she meets peter pan.
Oh and i hate the cars movie as they are just boring and felt like they were only made to sell toys to boys
I also agree that the Cars franchise was the dumbest idea ever. ***Toy Story ***had a better concept than ***Cars ***because the world of that franchise included humans and not just sentient toys.
I have a lot to say about pretty much every Disney film…I grew up watching all things Disney on video, I loved ‘Robin Hood’ and the more “mature” '80s flicks like ‘The Black Cauldron’ and ‘The Great Mouse Detective’, but by far my favorite Disney animated film is ‘Lilo & Stitch’. I was in my early teens when it came out but it just really clicked with me (and likely helped me tap into my emerging little side, as I sit next to a giant Stitch plushie).
I tend to look at anything older through a more analytical adult eye: I think ‘Dumbo’ and ‘Pinocchio’ are masterpieces, as is ‘The Hunchback of Notre Dame’. I think ‘Treasure Planet’ is extremely underrated. Conversely, I think some films like ‘One Hundred and One Dalmatians’ and ‘Pocahontas’ are extremely dull. And honestly, though I will agree it’s a very good movie, I personally don’t like ‘Aladdin’.
I haven’t seen too many of their 3D animated films, including Pixar. I’m just a big fan of 2D animation, 3D just feels lifeless sometimes, though I liked ‘Tangled’.
I would say I’m closer to a Pixar fan more than a Disney but I won’t deny they have made a lot of movies that I enjoy. As far as favorite characters go… I can’t say I have any really, I would say I fall more into the Movie favorites with things like Wall-E as I do love robots. For things I dislike is their take on certain acquired franchises such as Star Wars. They just felt like they had no real planned outline and the movies suffered heavily for it. Frozen as well but that’s just more down to annoyance from siblings that had to watch that movie till the end of time.
Omgggg
I remember that movie :3
“Wally…”
“Eva…”
I love the movie Tangled it is probably one of my favorite disney movies of all time, Pascal is so cute and funny, also Rapunzel is just amazingly beautiful and I love her song about “change the fates design” one, I sang that song at least 10 times after watching it the first time in theaters, in 3D. the lantern scene haha the lanterns were coming at me and I loved it <3
I also loveee Zootopia, seeing all the animals and how they get around was so cool, my favorite character was NIck Wilde, he is so humorous and smooth <3 And of course Judy <3 who had a naive idea about the world and then finally realizing that the wold is complicated and messy and to strive for better <3
I just watched ***Tangled ***today mostly for an analysis of Rapunzel’s personality and behavior/mannerisms. Rapunzel is totally a little baby girl in a big girl’s body. She’s the perfect Adult-Baby princess in Pampers.
I’ve always liked A Goofy Movie. I thought Max was cool when I was a kid. Roxanne was also my childhood crush
