How long have you had the new bed rails installed? As Snivy said, new accessories take some time to adjust to and that might be the same case. I know I struggle adjusting to new surroundings and new diapers take me a few nights to get adjusted to sleeping soundly through the night.
Its been about a month or so when i had the bed rails installed. You can see it here, and im hoping that i will get used to it..i toss n turn alot i know maybe i feel a bit more confined by the rails..
I toss and turn lots too.. glad I nots the only one that does it. 
Hope ya get used to it too.. if it doesn’t change at all in a few weeks, then maybe time for something different.
