I feel like I’ve tried every diaper there is but can’t seem to settle on the right one. I prefer plastic backed because I love the crinkle and feel. Not too mention, there are a lot of really cute prints…
However, most plastic backed diapers don’t fit me right and get more uncomfortable with each wetting. Is there anyone else out there that is going through or has gone through something similar? If so, have you settled on a single diaper and does it satisfy all of your criteria?
P.S. I’m a DL, not IC. I can control my wettings but typically like to wet as much as possible before changing and stay active while wearing… after all, these things are expensive!
what diapers have you tried? it be better to give us a list so we know what to recommend and maybe describe more in detail what you disliked about each one.
I am also DL and the brands I have tried that I like very much for heavy wettings include Tena Super Brief & Tena Stretch( both cloth backed) & Northshore Supreme briefs are amazing with color options + plastic backed.
I also requested samples and have tried Tranquility products, you may like the ATN (all through the night) brief, it’s plastic backed and heavy duty..Best of luck & order some samples to see what you like! Most are free, especially from Tena and Northshore!
One other idea I’d like to suggest is trying booster pad inserts for extra absorbancy. You can pair them with any diaper you like as long as the liner fits within the leak guards. They can make an 8hr diaper easily turn into a 12 hour! TYE Live Dry are the absolute BEST!
I’ve had a hard time finding a diaper that I don’t like, especially in the plastic backed abdl category. Out of the roughly 40 different kinds I’ve tried, all that I can remember not liking was NorthShore pullups(because pullups), little pawz(leaked on the first wetting), and NorthShore supreme(too stiff). Maybe I’m forgetting some, but I love most diapers I try.
I agree with Ereid. I’ve liked most premium diapers I have tried. Bigger issue tends to be the sizing. I’m on the border between medium and large so each brand cuts off its mediums slightly differently.
My bigger debate when I pick my nighttime diaper is what pattern do I feel like wearing that night.
So my go to is for sure crinklz. The fit is nice on me and they are fairly cheap. You can get them from northshore. The one problem is the tapes. But if you are a decent taper. That shouldnt be an issue
