Desitin smells terrible!

And A+D is kinda funky too, but not as bad. Any suggestions for barrier cream that doesn’t smell so bad?

Desitin smells off because of the cod oil, I believe. It’s effective, but not the most pleasant odor-wise. Then again, considering where it’s applied… :joy:

After using it for so long on the “7 year old”, I do not even notice the smell anymore .

Heh. Right! I applied Desitin to baby butts for years, and can’t even recall it having a scent. Doubtless my nose had bigger and badder things to fend off at those times! I seldom use ointments on myself.

I agree, that’s why it’s Balmex for me, always.

I go between desitin when I know I need it, to petroleum jelly. They both work great and keep the heat rash away. I use the baby powder scented petroleum jelly and that’s always heavenly

I love the smell of Desitin :stuck_out_tongue:

If it’s babyish, it’s for me! :hugging: :smiling_face_with_3_hearts:

The original purple container stinks. The blue doesn’t

It is definitely the purple one. Time to pick up the blue one!

Thanks!

I personally love A&D. I’ve been using it for 20 years or more. Best part is that it can be used for way more than just treating diaper rash. A&D works wonders to treat and reduce the onset of a pimple. Nothing works better in my opinion. This was a must buy and my life saver in high school. LOL
