Hey everyone! I’ve run into a financial situation where I may not be able to replenish my diaper stash for a while and want to know if there’s a good diaper cover that simulates a plastic diaper and I plan to find/make/sew some kind of diaper-ish cover for padding (not for use anymore just for comfort)
But anyways, are there any good, printed, crinkly, cute diaper covers out there? Safari/jungle animal pattern is preferred X3
Believe it or not, one time I used an old tablecloth. It had a plastic outer shell and a sort of fuzzy inner layer that would go against the table. Of course, the prints are all kitchen related. You just never know what you will find if you think outside the box.
I love the Babykins printed plastic covers that are about 6 mil plastic that crinkles just right for reminding you that you are protected or just wearing for fun. They come in pink and yellow and blue baby print.
You could try making a makeshift diaper cover from some shower caps…Ive used some ingenuity and sewed a few to make a pretty good plastic covers. You’ll mostly find floral prints but there are some colorful designed ones too. They also are rather inexpensive and easy to find in stores.
