I always wanted to be able to find something “childish” to wear that could be worn out and about and not turn heads. As a male, i find it difficult to find ‘little’ clothing that is not, well, over the top for normal wear.
Can everyone find a picture of a child wearing an outfit that they wish they could find in thier size?
I think as a guy at least, there’s a line where you can wear clothes that kind of hint at it without giving the game away. Of course that line is drawn somewhere between your own self awareness and the rest of society’s norms. Fashion varies from country to country, season to season.
But style is timeless
So a good aim is to slowly work childish pieces that you think won’t turn heads, into your style.
Color block trainers. A raglan or a shirt with a cute print. they’re all cool but worn together it can be overkill. I think a good rule is to pick one piece and work it with the rest of your outfit, *then *maybe add more as you see fit.
Think of it like being stealth little. I probably wouldn’t wear overalls unless they fit in with my overall ( ) style and could pass as a look rather than a statement of littleness.
Even though in my mind, it kinda is a statement of littleness.
So you get to have your cake and eat it too.
It’s a pretty nuanced thing because ideally you should be able to just wear what you want, but if you do go all out - people are gonna notice. At that point it’s up to you if you can handle the extra, possibly negative attention.
Very well written. I think the term ‘stealth little’ says it all. The thing is, perception is reality, so finding outfits that, when you look in the mirror, make you feel young and little while not being percieved as perverse by outsiders would be ideal. In some ways these trends are finding ground. Think the adult onesie pajama craze, or kidcore and babycore fashions. I started a blog of my own and i was looking into these fashion ideas as something to focus on down the line. I know that this is a struggle for many kittles and would be very beneficial to do more research on.
Absolutely! It will always be settling for somewhere in between self perception and the perception of others. But at the end of the day, feeling good about you, and not paying *too *much attention to the expectations of society is important.
We’re very lucky with these childlike clothing trends. I remember the onesie craze and bring blown away that I could buy my first adult onesie in a large popular clothing retailer ( a blue one with a baby on the chest and bottles on the feet! )
It certainly pointed towards better things to come.
I think a lot of these recent trends are motivated by a growing phenomenon of prolonged adolesence partly due to economic reasons. People living with parents longer, not being able to afford the next step into adulthood. Also the mass sentiment of not entirely wanting to grow up has become more universally acknowledged and accepted.
Of course as ABDLs and littles, we couldn’t agree more
Thanks for all the replies guys. I’m actually trying to do a ‘little’ research on what people look for. I am starting an online shop for ageregression and want to find things to sell that aren’t typically found in a littlespace store, but that are so super cute we just can’t live without. Ive never done anything like this before so any suggestions would be great. Thanks!
Agreed. There can be some strange interpretations when an ABDL site starts posting pictures of kids. Like, I totally get the context of this innocent thread and so far the kids posted are SUPER adorable (omg that first little boy OP posted makes my heart melt!). Just don’t be tone deaf here, people.
“Yeah, idk about that ABDL stuff man… Came across this site outta curiosity to see if these people are legit and they were posting pics of kids. About all the confirmation I need about what goes on in those sites.”
I think MOST ABDL sites nowadays have little clothing that you could wear out and about. It’s a matter of preference and confidence. If you want something that’s sorta socially acceptable but still little, try cartoon clothing. I have a cookie monster shirt I bought. Perfectly normal T-shirt that’s blue with the cookie monster face on the front. If somebody asks you could totally play it off. “Bro, I’m about that cookie life.”
I REALLY like striped shirts. Idk why, but a striped T-shirt makes me feel like a little boy, yet is still perfectly acceptable to wear. Long socks are super cute with some shorts. Very little boyish. I’ll admit, when I was a Scout I mainly wore the knee high socks to fit in with my summer camp counselors because that was the expected dress code, but I’d be lying if I didn’t say they made me feel like a little boy from time to time. Actually as I became more of a prominent adult leader figure, I gradually transitioned to pants in Winter time to have a more respectable adult appearance. But I kept my summer camp look in the hot seasons to show the kids that I would rock my full uniform unapologetically. They even called them ‘BigKid Socks’ (not actually big kid, but my name. Not sharing my name online lol).

(The onesies could be like tucked in shirts. If it’s too bold, wear a jacket over them. Could always zip it up, and unzip it when you feel comfy. Socks are super cute too.)

(Matching underwear and shirts… Obviously you’re not going to be flashing your underwear in public, but it might help you feel little knowing that you’re wearing some little clothing that only you know about. That’s why I have quite a few printed briefs.)
