I just went through my first bag of medium Crinklz, I like them, but… there is one issue I am running into, when they get wet, they swell, and it kinda compresses my boy parts. Ive never had a diaper do this before, I guess they are just too small? I have a 31 inch waist, maybe 32, and I am pretty slim. I really wanted these to work out as they are cute, but it looks like I will need to switch back to ConfiDry 24/7.
try one pants size up this will help when when the diaper swells up. Im a 36 but wear a 38 pant size as it helps hide the bulk of the diaper and leaves room for the diaper to expand when wet. Crinklz Aquanaughts are my favourite version.
I have recently recieved my latest order that included 2 cases of Tykables Cammies these may become my new goto diaper if Crinklz and betterdry diapers become hard to get in Canada

I am gonna try to swing by the diaper store in Vegas and get a sample of the large. I tend to be slim, was a 30 inch waist but kinda ate too many donuts in the mornings and actually gained weight for the first time in years so I am back to a 31-32" waist. Sometimes a small sized diaper fits me, at one point the mediums were almost too big, but that was a few years ago when I lost about 50 pounds after an injury.
There is no way a large will fit you, it will be way to big. I’m 6ft 1" with a 34" waist and mediums work good, These diapers are designed so the tapes land more on the sides then frontal zone, the bottom tapes should be angled upwards and the top tapes should be straight across. For myself the top tapes land about 1/2" before the front waist band starts, the bottom tapes angle towards the top, but they never touch any of the padding, they only stay on the wing plastic themselves. Also you need to fold these in half longways and soften them up since there are packed tightly.

Large will not work for you I’m afraid. Crinklz do aggressively absorb where the liquid comes out, so what your experiencing is normal for this brand. I’d recommend you work on loosening up the fit over your penis a bit to allow it more expansion room without it compressing against you and much, work on a taping technique for Crinklz that leaves a loser pouch over your penis while still forming a “belt” of tightness with the top tapes to prevent it from falling down. For me this means being very loose when applying the bottom tapes, because they’ll tighten up as the diaper swells.

Crinklz swells much more when wet than with any other diaper I’ve ever tried. That’s probably one of the biggest reasons for your compression issues

I am starting to think I may need to see a doctor, could be UTI related, I am feeling the urge to pee a lot this morning, and I do have some overflow incontinence symptoms, could be prostate related. Really dont like getting checked out by doctors and I did get some stuff looked at but its hasn’t been followed up yet by a doctor specializing in urinary tract kinda issues, I was supposed to get referred to one

It shouldn’t be a huge issue, I just need to demand better care. The virus has had me avoiding any kind of contact I had some tests done in the summer for pain in my genitals, but they couldn’t find anything and gave me an ultrasound, they noticed I am not fully emptying my bladder, due to prostate enlargement, so the beginning of an issue, was supposed to see a urologist but no one ever contacted me, the pain I was experiencing seemed to go away on its own. Its not unusual for prostate to get bigger as men age, and mine has had issues when I was in college. I probably need to drink more water too, its just that I am already peeing more than usual, or more the pee in the toilet and then 5 minutes later need to pee again. I gave up on trying to save the diaper and finally wet myself, which was followed by another smaller wetting, Ive had UTI infections in college that kinda felt like this, and that was prostate related, but it all resolved on its own. I think if I remember right the doctors said my prostate is more susceptible to infection, I had prostatitis. Good thing is I can pee, maybe not like a horse, and I have diapers, so I can pee, and wait a few minutes and pee again, which is very annoying if you are using the toilet and keep having to make return visits.
I did call the doctors office and left a message, so I will try to follow this up. I have been embarrassed in the past to talk much with doctors about urinary tract issue, I suspect wearing diapers sometimes leaves me more vulnerable to infection, specially messy diaper, something I usually dont do but have recently, but I change asap, except for the few times I had genuine accidents and found a surprise at diaper changes, which has happened this month.
The only urinary troubles i had in my life was a kidney stone. And I want to never experience that again. Though i did name the stone jim. and his last name is johnson
