So with the daily events in our lives being flipped around what have you done differently with your DL lifestyle? For IC folks I would expect to hear little in changes (pun intended) but for DLs do you wear more now since you may be at home working (or off work)? Have you stocked up in case your favorite diaper becomes out of supply? Maybe you just wear more often now and settle back in your comfort zone and feel better while this world-wide situation plays out (for ABs no pun intended). For me it was a first time, new step.
I wear my training underwear and plastic underpants nightly but then change into regular underwear and my clothes and go to work. Since we work from home now mostly I still wear regular underwear while working at home but for a surprising reason I decided, for the time I had to go into the office, to wear my training underwear and PULs to go to work since I knew only a few people may be around and no one is really looking to see if anyone is wearing IC undergarments. I felt surprisingly relaxed and calm while at work. I even talked to one other person across the hall and felt great knowing that I was wearing my trainers and PULs beneath my regular clothes. When everything returns to normal and we go back to that 5 day work office routine I doubt I will wear my special undergarments at work but I did like the feeling of wearing now to try it.
I definitely get to wear diaper more often now, since I have to work from home for the past few weeks. I even ordered some ABDL diaper online to try out, since I have mostly been using local Tena brands before this, and still waiting for the shipping. Have yet to wear them for the entire day yet, but probably would consider doing that some day.
I still wear my diapers at home daily and now i wear them out and about so i do not have to use the public restrooms in any establishment I go to. In fact thanks to covid 19 i wear my diapers more then i normally would espically when i am out and about as well.
Ironically, now that I am at home I would wear more often. But that is not the case for me sadly. I can’t wear any diapers while I’m back home with the family due to lacknof privacy. The only time in could fully enjoy wearing a diaper is when I was living in the dorms.
Wearing much less due to my mum self-isolating for three months; she’s not been given the official dictat to do so, but she’s borderline COPD and in her seventies, so it just makes sense. Besides, all her social events are banned, anyway (she’s usually darting three nights a week).
As such, I get less opportunity to do my laundry.
So, wearing just for the sensual side of things is on the backburner, mostly. My stock of dispies is pretty low, although I’m wearing a cheap one at the moment to contain my ointment. I have other ‘cheap’ ones (cheap as in poor quality: cloth like outers, you know how it is) , but they require wearing trainer pants or my yuyun AIOs over them which can get bulky and obviously defeats the object of disposable ‘all-in-ones’ if you end up laundering trad gear.
I wore for an entire weekend, 60 hours straight, since I knew we wouldn’t be going to church on Sunday and probably wouldn’t be going anywhere except maybe to buy groceries.
The biggest change for me is that I’ve worn every single night for the past two months. Plus since I got laid off, I have nothing that requires me to be out of diapers in the morning, so I’ll typically wear until late morning before I change into day clothes.
Right now I’m in the beginning of trying to wear for a full week, 24/7, as it’s something I’ve wanted to try and typically am not able to do so.
I don’t know why but my desire to wear has gone down a lot. Also if I wanted to wear it would be harder as I don’t have an apartment washer/drier, so I have to take it down to the basement of the apartment building, and with every one stuck at home the chances of running into some one else is much greater with my wet diapers.
I am loving working (primarily) from home. I am on-call, so could have to leave in a moments notice, so I wear thinner diapers (currently in an XPMedical A+) when I am “working.” Otherwise, on my off days (5 out of 7 days currently) I stay in very thick diapers and love every moment of it. Usually, I will just wear my thick night diapers and change out of them when they start to leak.
Switched from disposables (Dry 24/7 daytime, Northshore Megamax nightime) to nearly 100% cloth (44" gauze flats with a real baby cloth diaper or 2 tri folded for a booster, with plastic pants and colored pins). Loving it. So soft and comfy. Had plenty of time to get a system. It is more work, but I am loving the cost savings.
Since I’ve been working from home, I haven’t been able to wear or enjoy diapers. I can only wear to work as my wife and kids are at home and there’s zero privacy.
I just got back from travel (yay being in an “essential” industry) and so I’m self quarantineing/working from home with zero chance of work requiring me to show up in person for the next two weeks. As such, I’m going to try for wearing 24/7 for the duration of that and maybe longer.
I’ve been trying to wear most nights, I’m back into a very intense cardio program so I know I’m pushing the envelope on nighttime accidents, and I’m doing my best to help conserve on cleaning supplies by not doing laundry as often. I’m loving it, for the first time since I was a baby I used a Luvs diaper (mind blowing) and during a movie last Saturday I had on a pair of Goodnites from the evening until the following morning inclusive of my workouts catching up with my sleep. (which means I filled it front to back and with no leaks)
Like many others, I’ve been wearing almost 24/7 since I work from home now. The only times I change out of my diaper are to do an online yoga/fitness class or to hang out in the living room with my roommate. I have done a yoga class while wearing but the diaper (Tena Slip Maxi) didn’t hold up too well and I ended up removing it during a water break.
