Corona Virus toilet paper shortage!

So I’m a DL and my boyfriend isn’t, but he knows I am. He works at a grocery store and told me that there may be a temporary toilet paper shortage due to the corona virus. I said, looks like I might not be the only one in diapers..

Well I just noticed that my dorm room ran out and the cvs and target near me are also out. The school has some in their bathrooms, but they are placed in such inconvenient places. Looks like I may be joining you guys until I can get some myself. Don’t know what my roommate is going to do though.

Believe it or not, we have extra supplies of toilet paper, enough to last a while here.. just incase, I know if I get loose stools I’d rather be using the toilet then my diaper.

But, in all seriousness, its a good idea to stock up on extra essentials, Im not concerned about getting sick, I’m more concerned about some regular supply chain interruptions that might happen as this unfolds, NY state governor has suggested doing some quarantine precautions for areas of public buildings geographically in 1 mile radiuses from areas of higher concentrations of positive virus test results, these quarantines will have phycological impacts to many masses of people, possibly private supply chain companies which may cause a disruption for local deliveries, essentially you want to be prepared for up to 2 weeks of inconvenience in my opinion.

Ya, I like to keep stocked on things, not because I ever expect something to happen, but if it does, it sure is nice to not have to worry so much. I watched a video of people in a store, and they were at each others throats over some toilet paper. People need to calm down. I’m plenty stocked for probably a month on all kinds of things. Last year I was thinking I went overboard on buying goodnites and northshore supremes, but right now I like how that played out lol. I got over 200 goodnites and might just order some more goodnites (most of the ones I have are the camo and stripes, I ordered tons because of all the talk about them ruining the sides but it got fixed, I just really like the space design) and northshore diapers just because you never know when factories will actually start up again, and stock up on toilet paper and soap because now you have to stockpile just to avoid not being able to get stuff because everyone went nuts. Worst thing is the wait, we all know it will come it’s just knowing about it and not being able to do anything is surreal.

My husband just ordered more TP despite us having some since he did not check first. So we are apparently stocked for the next 2 months as of now. :ROFLMAO:

I like loose stools in my nappy lmao

I’m sure its coming. It will get paired in the “frequently bought together” as hand sanitizer, toilet paper, and 2 weeks of survival rations all for just $6,000.

Lucky my father just got me one of these giant pack from the Costco, I don’t even know where to fit this, I think there’s 90 rolls in that thing, in my local area they are all out, I can’t believe some Canadians are so stupid like that, was sure it was limited to USA, turns out we have some assholes in Canada too. BTW if interested I have an almost empty bottle of purell hand sanitizer, I can sell it for 45$, for a brand new one I would charge 150$

There’s also another option, baby wipes, those were still in full stock near the diaper aisle, and they do a much better job at cleaning anyways.

When companies start shutting down due to Fears of the virus we might have diaper shortage.

They already charge €50 for 100ml bottle of disinfectant hand gel on Amazon here… And one charged less but €49 on shipping :O.o: that’s insane , they should ban such unrealistic shipping prices…

I agree on the diaper shortage. Time to stock up. Problem is do you stack a bunch of cases of diapers in your garage or closet. Kind of awkward if your embarrassed about your bedwetting.

Yesterday, I heard someone said that she couldn’t find hand sanitizer at every store that she visited.

I keep 8 cases of Confidry in my garage at any time, and about 3 in my closet. I rotate them so they don’t get stale. I could probably go a year if production stopped before switching to cloth, which I also have a lot of. Not worried here!

Every single store I have been in has been out of it … and bleach products … funny thing is the Corona Virus is killed by any soap that strips oil ( ie: dish soap ) .

Well, the diapers I tend to use from Totalydry.com are on backorder :0 and was refunded the money :frowning:

This afternoon at the Hannaford’s Supermarket here in Derry, New Hampshire, the store has been a most “cleaned out” of toilet paper.

But I did only purchase (2) rolls of toilet paper and a package of HUGGIES Baby Wipes.

Just returned from Costco.

No toilet paper.

Limit 2 packs of adult diapers.

I just laughed
