From my understanding of the announcement, we aren’t allowed to post links to other groups. And I understand the reasoning behind this.
I wanted to ask clarification: can we post mention of different groups and then request interested members to DM us for the link? I run a rather large ABDL Discord server for the north Alabama area, and I would like it if I were able to direct interested members there. I wanted to get clarification about this so that I wouldn’t be banned for posting.
Furthermore, if this were allowed, where and how could it be posted? Could you post in each relevant forum, or is there a dedicated place it should go?
You only have one thread/post about this, anywhere, and its in the off topic forum.
You state people have to DM you for the actual link to your Discord server
Its clearly marked and you’re mentioning it because its relevant (its how people know you)
The location or group you’re mentioning is one you own, and its not based on a location where ADISC is blocked (like the UK)
You can even make the thread title like “Goodbye from the ABDL Alabama Discord Server Owner” or something to make it clear you’re not just a random person you’re actually a hub of the broader AB/DL community for your area.
All of this is fine, my goal is to avoid spam and blatant irrelevant recruiting, not prohibit people from saying “here’s where to find me”.
