belted nappies

I managed to break a rib the other day and am finding it very hard to change myself. So i ordered some tena belted nappies. whilst i cab now change myself, I’m not impressed with them or thier stated capacity (2800 ml), they barely take one of my floods and if I’m sitting when my bladder releases i leak everywhere, the only thing i do like about them is the velcro like fastening, whish they would put that on my medical nappies.

Ouch! Broken ribs are awful. Take care. I agree velcro on medical nappies would be great. I guess it is more expensive?

I used to wear the tena flex back-to-front because the padding seemed to be positioned for femaliens :alien:

Mind you, I also wore trainer pants over them.

Thanks GermanDL, I have a medical problem called osteoporosis (thin bones) so am prone to fractures.

oh sht

i heared of this, i hope they find some kind of

medicine to heal it some day.

I was due to have spinal surgery to help correct some osteoporosis related problems but they discovered I also have lupus which makes any major surgery out of the question unless it is a case of life or death. My consultant has already to;d me I am heading for bowel incontinence and weakening legs and probably a wheel chair, but such is life.

hurts to hear this…maybe some day they can do it without risks.

I really respect you for how take this.

I’m sorry to hear it too, PC.

Sorry to hear as well. Say, didn’t these used to be plastic-backed? I swear the first thing I wore was a plastic-backed belted undergarment…if memory serves…

I’ve never had a broken rib but I hear it can be very ‘stressful’. Wishing you a speedy recovery with not much ‘stress’!
