Have you ever tweaked your back out doing an everyday thing like cooking or getting dressed? If so I want to hear your story.
yah I have done that a lot, that way I see a chiropractor to get my back moving again
I do that everyday either rebuilding an engine or working installing windows. I go to Joy Foot and get a two hour Japanese massage.
Yes! I do not have any back issues but two months ago I woke up in the morning, did my stretch, tried to crack my back a bit by rolling over…
NOPE
I must have pinched a nerve or something, I couldn’t move for 10 minutes and it took several hours before I could really stand straight without extreme sharp pain!!
My neck was a bit stiff for a few weeks after that.
My back and knees are destroyed from doing over 18 years of industrial construction.
Now-a-day if I have to do something that requires a lot of bending, lifting, or kneeling , I take a few Naproxen and keep going.
After a while, I don’t notice the pain.
I think that I’ve only ever had back-twinge once (to cure it, I dangled from the doorframe, relaxed the rest of my body and then gave a few bodily jerks. It worked!), but I’ve had backache too many times to mention (working and playing hard).
Back problems tend to be associated with taller folk and I’m normal-sized ![]()
My stomach muscles are my weak point (discounting all the shit from being injured at work, some years ago).
Maybe it’s because of all the coughing I did as a baby/kid?
Nowadays, when I get a cold or suchlike, particular stomach muscles go into painful spasms, often triggered by just bending over.
I have to stretch backward for several minutes to ease the tensing and then move about gingerly, lest it sets off again.
Another weak point on me is my wrists.
Being normal-sized and with the rest of the world being adult over-sized, every single thing becomes a stretch or a strain.
In a working environment, it takes it’s toll.
Literally me today I just made food then suddenly I’m on the floor in pain. Fml
I’ve had L5 disc problems in the past. There are 3 exercises that prevent flare ups. 1) downward dog from yoga, 2) happy baby for the groin stretch and 3) glute stretches. I’ve found any back problems started with tight glutes.
