Alas, I have no privacy or space for one here in my place here in Derry, NH.
Well, I have thought about it…albeit i’m not in great shape physically, and rarely leave my property anymore…so setting up and alike wouldn’t be something i’d be able to do, so always been on a back burner so to speak.
I have some privacy, i’m on an apple orchard/hobby farm…a rather large house and couple out buildings on the property, a walking trail and alike for guests…
In all reality in the summer be fun, even going canoeing on the river (just couple miles away) or just on the paddle boat in my pond, or the island in the middle…
i’d personally have to get out and meet/see some people that could help out with the logistics and alike first…
maybe have some over just for a dinner or something…
I’m single these days without kids…just me and some workers and carers around here…
The place was built for fun! with my ex and the kids had lots of fun times, alas nothing good seems to last forever…but about 15years wasnt too bad.
I’m about 1hr outside Minneapolis, MN…never looked into the scene out here…I didnt start out as most, i have IC issues since birth and really consider it my shortfalling or lesser because of it…i always used to hide my ic…even to the point of having cello wrapped candies in my pocket, and pull out one whenever was quiet to use as excuse if anyone heard diaper rustling…and have since my ex been better about it not being as negative.
so, yes i could host a meet, but would take meeting people in person, having some that can help out with logistics/security and honestly just been not top on the list.
i always think about it when these posts come up, but so far havent
